Simon is a well-established DJ throughout Europe. He has played at many venues & functions.
He has been a popular choice for corporate events such as the Cisco Systems at the Carlton Hotel Cannes & the BT annual events at Euro Disney playing to crowds of over 10,000 people. Simon is a valued talent to many of his clients, he was the 1st DJ to be allowed to work at Penshurst Place by appointment to Lord D’ilse .
He is the DJ for Supersports British Grand Prix ,The A1 GP tour and ATP Tennis Tour. In 1996 was the DJ for Euro 96 Opening Party. Regular DJ for SEAT UK and Green Flag, has worked for SEAT at some of the country’s most prestigious venues. Over the Years he has worked for some well know celebrities such as Tom Cruise, Pierce Brosnan, Arnold Schwarzeneger, , Elle MacPherson, Nell McAndrew, Jacques Villeneuve, S – Club 7, Robbie Williams, Chris Evans, Tiff Neddle and countless others.
Simon has been fortunate enough to play at many of Britain’s top venues such as; The Royal Geological Society (London), Bayham Abbey Ruins (Lamberhurst), Slayley Hall (Newcastle), The London Aquarium (London), Sion House (London). Riverside Studio, Westway Studios, Cafe De Paris, Cafe Royal, The Dorchester Hotel, Weston Park, Ston Easton Hall, The Great room & Ball Room at The Grosenvor House Hotel and many more.
Simon’s impressive tours have also taken him around Europe and made him a number 1 International DJ. He has toured:- Malta, Ibiza, Spain, Italy and Gozo, where he played at the festival to 14,000 people alongside Boy George, Steve Surley and Les Ryder.
In 2001 Simon became a pioneer Disc Video Jockey. He used his skill as a Dj to include video into his set.
He soon was recognized by Pioneer UK, and invited him to become one of 9 European Disc Video Jockey’s to be Registered Pioneer Pro DVJ’s. He was supplied with the ground breaking DVJ – X1 Video turntables and soon became a known figure in the industry. these professional DVD Video/CD Player Combine Pioneer’s world-famous CD Jog Dial technology with the flexibility and capacity of DVD, the DVJ-X1 looks just like the company’s own CDJ-1000MKIII CD Player. DVJs are able to use the DVJ-X1 to manipulate DVD visuals in exactly the same way as they would music. So real-time digital video scratches, loops and instant cues are all possible with the awesome DVJ-X1, while the video and audio streams always stay in perfect sync, even when they’re being reserved and pitched. This new Pioneer unit works with all established CD formats as well as DVDs, crossing the boundaries between the once-separate audio and video domains. In 2004 Pioneer asked Simon for his input to upgrade the DVJ-X1 dvd player and the following year Simon was asked to launch the new DVJ -1000 at the P.L.A.S.A. (Professional Light & Sound Association) Show at Earls Court, London. 2 years later Pioneer were back in touch with Simon to ask for his input regarding their new Video mixer. Simon was again one of only 9 DVJ’s around Europe who was supplied with the new SMV – 1000 video mixer. For the first time DVJ’s had a new plethora of visual & sound effects to blow the invention of the Video DJ even further.
Simon has remixed video’s for various artist including remixes of Beyonce, Lady GaGa, The Eurythmic, Fedde Le Grand to name a few. He prides himself that if there isn’t a video for a tune he will produce one. His remix for the Kings of Leon has had more than 100,000 hits on line.
He is a personality DVJ. Unlike a lot of DJ’s in the industry Simon gets the audience buzzing with his playing ability & his wit via a microphone (if required). He knows what the “WOW!” factor is and always delivers
